The Clock Tick

This is from my Lovely wife....who is my guiding force and loads of hidden Qualities.
The clock Tick-
I was reading the newspaper today morning and it stated, a shake, a hug and a wave was all that replaced Bush to Obama. Quite true it is!With each moment, ending with the needle of the clock ticking, teaches all of us a lesson- to live life. For, life is too short and I have a million dreams to fulfil. In this hard pressed economic scenario, we have to search for opportunities that pave our way to glory, instead of regretting and mourning all that we have lost or committed wrong. A tick of the needle and it will be gone forever. Move forward and march towards your destiny. Make the best of each moment and don't let it just goooooooooooo

Words That Speak

I recently attended a convention on adventure tourism and heard someone say that a philosopher need not be a good mountaineer but a good mountaineer will always be a good philosopher. On my way back to Delhi, the lines kept striking me again and again. I really admire the plethora of words people use to express and relate their experiences.
I recall my last trek to Chandratal and can still feel the solace, tranquility and peace in the realm of himalayas. Every breath i took gazing at the calm Chandratal lake, was so pure and filled me with a sense of freshness and serenity.
well! have i also turned a philosopher?
May be i am still at the base camp and one day i'll surely become a good philosopher as i would love to conquer these fascinating peaks....

Garbage!!

One day, I hopped into an auto and took off for Bikaner House. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly, a black car, jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My auto driver slammed the brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us. My auto driver just smiled and waved at the guy. I mean, was really friendly. So I asked, "Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your auto and sent us to the hospital!" This is when my auto driver taught me what I now call, 'The Law of the Garbage Truck'
He explained, "Many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you. NEVER take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on with the routine life." Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home or on the streets.
The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day. Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so...... 'Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who don't.'
A very rightly said quote: Life is 10% what you make and 90% how you take!!!!
